There are undead, including a boss, to kill on the way. You'll get about 500 sunspear points. There is also a marogite shrine just out of your way. Kill the marogites right near it then the ones spawned in the temple as you activate the shrines (including 3 bosses) to get about 600 LB points.

The Maronite Hunt is on the fast NorthWest of the map, close to a cluster of margonites.
Kill those, kill the margs during the mission, and you get 25+ margonite kills. The last "Bell" releases then 3 margonite bosses(100 lb each)

tried a few of these runs, but the problem is I'm so flagged with anti-farm that I haven't gotten a single gold in about 10 runs (Gaile's lies ftl).

I'd love to try more but there's no point, Anet has succesfully unfunned the game to where it's pointless

actually it's 150 pts for each, making it around 630 total (450 bosses, ~180 for the casual margonites)

Yeah im also flagged and didnt get any golds yet on this run.

I wanted to ask about the chest, i havent seen one spawn close yet, cause they are usually on the other side of the map .... so is there really one that can spawn that close and is reachable while you solo?

zoe, sometimes there are chests that spawn nearby but I don't think you could reach them solo. The 2 closest spawn points are in the middle of that gigantic mess of mobs you see in the big sulfur area where you pull the nearby crags, then one spawn just beyond ardeh (assn boss)

I'd like to know how anyone can solo those Gravens with a wurm. I mean taking out one or two at a time is easy. Three is doable, but 4 or more and you're up the creek without the paddle.

i was talking 2 an alliance guy yesterday who said he got a req12 ele sword from a shambling mesa in sulph wastes and a req9 from chest running there. i didn't ask for pic but will see if he has one later since u all like ur screenshots so much

First of all thnx for the OP for starting a thread to acquire Elemental sword.

I am sorry I don't know how to put in quotes from others.
Regarding the picture on post #48.
Since the one who thook the screenie blocked out which creature dropped the Elemental sword, we cannot be certain whether a Monolith dropped it. A mandragor could have dropped this sword also. Look at how the one who took the screenie scrolled the message part of the picture.

Regarding the picture on post #74.
The quest would probably be the "Show of Force".
This picture really baffles me. At first I thought this picture is fake. I thought I only saw Graven monoliths, but there is also a Margonite Warlock that means the person who took the screenie might have killed a few enemies (eg monoliths already, one of which could have dropped the elemental sword). But why would the person block certain information such as his name (thus blocking the characters profession), the build he is using and the part where we can type message. A wild guess is, that person doesn't want us to to know that he is farming with (my guess a necro). He flagged most of his henchies/heroes except one (who probably uses spirits so a ranger). Or he doesn't wnat us to find out that the part where it showed "Graven Monolith has dropped an Elemental Sword" dropped for another character.

What I am trying to say is: Thnx for posting a screenie but please show us one where there can be no doubt on its genuineness.

I started with an apology. I'm gonna end it with one. I am sorry if I offended anyone with my post. It's just it is hard enough to get gold these days (and I hate wild goose chase).

let me guess, you load mnaster of whispers whit enchants, and sent him in to do the kill, then let him die and res him(again) whit some kind of spirtefull spirit or someting...(traps?), sucide minon bomber?
